Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 04/04/26
Welcome to Fetch Prospect. We built our platform with a core philosophy: your outreach data belongs to you. Because our tool operates as a localized browser extension, we handle your data very differently (and much more securely) than traditional cloud-based outreach bots.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Fetch Prospect website, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. The Short Version (TL;DR)
- Your CRM Data Stays Local: The prospects you scrape, the campaigns you build, and the messages you generate are stored locally on your device using your browser’s storage. We do not host your CRM data on our servers.
- No AI Markups or Data Hoarding: You use your own API keys (OpenRouter). Your prompt data is sent directly from your browser to those providers. We do not intercept, store, or train models on your messages.
- Local IP Outreach: Fetch Prospect automates actions using your active browser session and local IP address. We do not use remote proxies to access your linkedin accounts.
2. Information We Collect
To provide and maintain Fetch Prospect, we collect the following types of information:
A. Information You Provide to Us Directly
- Account Information: When you purchase a lifetime license or create an account, we collect your name, email address, and account credentials.
- Payment Information: Payments are processed securely via Paypal and Razorpay. We do not collect or store your full credit card number or financial details on our servers.
- Support Interactions: If you contact us for support, we collect the contents of your messages and any contact details provided to assist you.
B. Information Processed Locally (Not Stored by Us)
- Prospect & CRM Data: Data add from platform (LinkedIn) is saved directly to your local machine.
- API Keys: Your Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) credentials are saved locally in your browser to authenticate directly with third-party AI providers.
C. Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymized, aggregated data regarding how the extension is used (e.g., error logs, feature usage rates) to help us improve the product and fix bugs. This data is never tied to your specific prospects or campaigns.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect (Account and Usage Data) to:
- Verify your license and grant you access to the Service.
- Process your transactions and send related information (receipts, updates).
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send you technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- Analyze generalized usage trends to improve the Fetch Prospect extension.
4. Third-Party Services & Integrations
Fetch Prospect acts as a bridge between your browser and third-party services. Please note how data flows to these entities:
- Llinkedin Platform: The extension interacts with these platforms locally via your active browser session. We do not store your linkedin password. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
- AI Providers (OpenRouter): When you click “Generate,” the extension sends the necessary prospect context directly to the AI provider linked to your API key. We recommend reviewing your chosen AI provider’s privacy policy to understand how they handle API data.
- Payment Processors (Stripe and Razorpay): Used strictly for secure checkout and license management.
5. Data Security
Because your CRM data is stored locally via Browser Storage, the security of your prospect data relies primarily on the physical and digital security of your own device. We strongly recommend using device passwords, screen locks, and encrypted hard drives to protect your local data.
For the Account Information we do hold (email, license status), we use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect it against unauthorized access or disclosure.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the following rights regarding the personal data we hold:
- Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated email/license data. (Note: Because your CRM data is local, you can delete it at any time simply by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the extension).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy, and/or by communicating with you via email or an in-app notification.
