1. Will this get my LinkedIn or X account banned?

Traditional cloud tools get you banned because they log into your account from proxy servers in different countries. Fetch Prospect runs 100% locally inside your Chrome browser. It uses your actual IP address and active browser session, mimicking human typing behavior. While all automation carries some risk, running locally is the safest possible way to do outreach.

2. What does “Bring Your Own Key” (BYOK) mean?

Instead of forcing you to buy overpriced “AI Credits” from us, you use your own API key from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter. You pay them directly for the generation costs (usually fractions of a penny per message). We don’t mark up your usage.

3. Where is my CRM data stored?

Your data belongs to you. All prospects, campaigns, and generated messages are stored locally on your device using your browser’s IndexedDB. We do not host, sync, or access your CRM data on our servers.

4. What happens if I uninstall the extension or clear my browser data?

Because Fetch Prospect is a local-first tool, clearing your browser’s site data or uninstalling the extension will permanently delete your CRM data. We strongly recommend regularly exporting your data as a CSV backup using our built-in export tool.

5. Does Fetch Prospect track when someone replies?

Yes! Our Smart Connection Tracking auto-detects if a prospect is Not Connected, Pending, Connected, or if they have Replied across supported platforms. Your local CRM updates automatically as you browse.
